Unlike today’s women the renaissance dresses of bygone era’s women’s were consists of many layers. To wear only renaissance clothes, which were divided into as many as 5 different layers it took many hours, two helpers and great degree of pain to fit into it but all was beard for the sake of elegancy and beauty. Gowns were the top choice of women’s as their dress whether they belonged to higher society or lower class which was also divided into many layers. Underskirts, collar, vests, bodice and skirt were the layers for a gown.
